Communists would necessitate the overthrow of Wong. what

slogan can this be, being so strange and absurd?

From

this we can conclude that if the Anti-Communist movement

is not a policy of Soviet Russia, the attempt to overthrow

Tseung must have been due to an individual grudge.

We beg that you will again wire to the other party,

informing them that our Anti-Communist movement here in

April had nothing to do with Tseung, and that it was merely

because we could not bear to see the destruction of our

Kuomintang and nation. Fearing that the Communists would

cause an infantile disturbance, we promoted the movement

as an infantile resistance. We hope that Mr. Wong will

give up his desire to kill lir. Tseung because of his being

a meritorious dog and stop his mobilization so as not to

cause the people in the Eastern Regions such misery and

calamity as have been experienced by Hu-nan and Hu-peh in consequence of infantile folly. We will then have ourselves

fettered and surrendered to him and let him maim me with

his own knife so as to gratify him. Or he can revert to

his long cherished ambition and work hand in hand with us

in our anti-Communist policy. This will prove a better

way of settlement, for the calamity of war among us

comrades must be avoided in the interests of both China

and the world.

Li (Shek Tsang) and Tsoi (Yuen Pui) and others are at present all away, and in view of the urgent situation, we have no time to make a selection of our words, but

rashly submit you this sorrowful appeal first.

When we have gathered Li and others, we will discuss

the matter with them and send you a detailed reply. We hope you will communicate our opinions to all our comrades

Wu Hon Man, Nau Wing Kin and

Ng King Hang.
